NEW ORLEANS, LA — (4/3/12) — Gifted Nurses CEO and majority shareholder P.K. Scheerle, RN, is pleased to announce her company's recent merger with Robison Medical Group, a fellow supplemental staffing and travel nursing agency based in Oklahoma. Scheerle said bringing Robison under the umbrella of rapidly expanding Gifted Nurses was a natural.
"Merging with Robison introduces new talent to our already extraordinary pool," said Scheerle. Like Gifted Nurses, Robison specializes in Intensive Care Units, Operating rooms and Emergency rooms staffing and is active in the travel nurse industry. Gifted Nurses also provides private duty in-home care.
Scheerle founded American Nursing Services, one of the most successful staff relief agencies in the country, and is one of the most respected healthcare leaders in the country. Under her direction, American Nursing Services grew from five employees to over 2,500 employees with locations in 9 states. Under her direction, Gifted Nurses is actively pursuing an aggressive growth strategy. With the merger, it is now valued at $18,000,000.
Carol Robison, RN, the founder of Robison Medical Resource Group in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, is staying on as president of Robison Medical Group and will continue to drive growth for the newly merged company through the identification and pursuit of companies interested in joining the expanding team.
